So You Want To PurchaseYour First Home...

Many renters have a fear of home ownership but would still like to take the plunge. Talking to a good mortgage lender may ease your fears. They will let you know where you stand on your credit and can either assist you with a plan to saving so you can purchase or pre-approve you for a loan up to a specific amount.

If you don't know how to find a good lender talk with your Real Estate agent and they usually have several mortgage lenders they can refer you to depending on your specific needs.

If you don't have a Real Estate agent you can check with friends, family, or co-workers and see who they have used and recommend.

It is always best to know how much you can afford before looking at homes, this will avoid a lot of time and disappointment if you are looking in a price range that is too high. Your agent will show you homes within your range and the area you would like to live in, and help explain the home purchasing process ie: lender, title company, inspections, escrow, closing. etc.

Recap:
            • Find the right Real Estate Agent & Lender
            • Check your credit report and get pre-approved
            • Find out how much you can afford
            • Find the right home and make an offer
            • Go through the escrow process
            • Close on your home
            • Move In!
